I have a set of foose 18 x 8 monterrey wheels on the front of my 72 and the rubber is pretty close to the fender. I ordered the wheels with a 4" backspace thinking "center is better". Can I take the wheels somewhere that will increase my backspace by about 1 inch? and would it be more cost effective than buying new wheels?

any info you guys have would be great!

cast wheels can't be rehooped while 2 and 3 piece can. i would just sell them and get some new ones to make them fit right.

they're two piece wheels. They cost about 700 brand new... would fixing them cost a boatload of money? Plus, the wheels I have are slightly different due to some subtle styling changes from the manuf. I could live with the ones I have now and dial a little bit more camber into the front suspension. Im just searching for a little peace-of-mind:cool:
