I am having problems finding wheels that are a black 5 spoke type w/ a polished lip, similar to a black zr1 vette wheel. The only problem i have with those is they do not have a "dished" look. I used photoshop and pasted them on but i just cant sell myself on them. I want to stay w/ black wheels cause my car is a 71 ss thats black w/ white strips and it has the original wheels that are powder coated black w/ the crome trim rings and i love how it looks. The problem is that i need more rubber in the rear, those 15x7 just dont cut it. I've looked into widening these wheels, thats what i really want to do, but havent found anyone who has widened this kind of wheel. Thanks

check out www.slponline.com (http://www.slponline.com) they have a 17x8 zr-1
style wheel that does not require spacers for the factory off set. avalible to silver or black.
click on wheels and go to page six. about $700. four a set of four or they have tire and wheel packages. not sure if this what your looking for
but they are the only zr-1 style i've seen except for the originals. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

You will probably have to do what you did with your other wheels and have powder coated. any good powder coater should be able to coat the wheels and leave the outer ring silver.
If you want to see the toque thrusts with black go to my picture page and check out the vette. also my camaro has black powder coated wheels. both wheels where done in a matte finish. hope that helps. tommy
