66ChevelleSS Mar 5th, 04, 9:40 AM I have two new American Racing Torq Thrust D wheels, part number 105-5861. They are 15" x 8.5" wheels, with a 3.75" backspacing and a 4.75" bolt spacing. Will these fit on the rear of my car without rubbing? Dan 1966_L78 Mar 5th, 04, 11:50 AM I think that will be real tight, but it depends on what tire you plan on using... I am assuming you have the stock 1966 rearend... I have 15X8 rims on my 66, and the BS is about 5 inches. I think 4.75-to-5 inch BS is about centered, so you will stick out slightly, but you may be able to fit a narrower tire on there... I have a 295/50-15 and it has roughly 1/2 inch (maybe less) to the outer lip... You could always roll the outer lip of the wheelwell too... 66 Chevelle SS Mar 9th, 04, 7:38 AM . | ||
