My Globalwest tubular upper a-arms squeak - must be polyeurathane bushings,,, it's driving me nuts,, I feel like it makes my otherwise presentable classic looks like a broken down jalopy anytime i hit the slighest bump! Any fix short of changing out the bushings for decent ones. Anyone ever tried drilling a greasing hole through the steel housing and bushing, down to the center shaft?? Had the PST polygraphite bushing before the a-arm switch, they were great.

I prefer the PST's myself, but a simple can of silicone spray oil can make the squeaks go away for a week or so at a time. I hold the straw right at the edge of the bushing and cover it good with oil and push down on the suspension a few times to work it in during and after the application.

You need to tighten these with the full weight of the car on the suspension. If you tightened them while the car was up in the air with the suspension hanging then put it down on the floor, you will get this squeak.
I fought a squeak similar to yours not too long ago. I must have taken apart the front right side suspension 3x. Later I realized all I had to do was to add more love juice to the lower BJ. All that work for nothing...

I'm guessing they don't have grease fittings for grease? I know there Delalum ones do.

Mine do.

My Global West control arms came with a grease fitting installed at each bushing.
With proper greasing, you shouldn't be having any squeaking.

Like mentioned it sounds like a grease problem, if they have fittings grease them and it will go away.

I didn't think global west made their control arms without the delrin bushings. I guess I was mistaken.
