Im am now ready to pull the trigger on a true Serpentine setup for my 67 big block. I need the whole nine yards to include remote power steering and air. I will be getting an electric fan setup and vintage air before my car goes back together. Whats the difference between these two March systems besides the price? I also like to Concept One kit. I did already post about the Style trac set on here before and got some good info and pricing from both Frank at Prodigy customs and Creight from CS3, but Im still undecided on what to buy.

I have an older March system on my big block. It works OK. It appears March has improved their design. Since you're going with Vintage Air, what about their Frontrunner system. I like the systems that mimic an OEM assembly. Something with a tensioner.

The Ultra Drive has an automatic spring loaded tensioner, the Style Trac does not (it comes with a tensioner tool). Ive spent a lot of time looking up front-end acc. kits. Im choosing the Onyx black Style-Trac kit for my 69' 496. It the look and color that I want. I e-mailed March last week with some questions and was surprised at the fast response. They said when Im ready call and they would even cut me a deal.

Ive placed my order with Concept One. It came down to that and the March Style Trac, but I was sold on Concept One when the salesman told me that I would be able to use their mini PS pump with integral resevoir instead of a remote setup. (We'll see soon) Im gonna wait and order my fans once the Serpentine kit is installed. The guys at Concept one mounted one of their kits on a 67 recently and ended up using a low profile fan on the right side and performance fan on the left. Others on here told me that the March Ultra Drive with PS will not work in a 67 due to steering box clearance. There are just so many clearance issues on 67 cars. You guys with 68 and up have it much easier, as far as big block clearance problems are concerned. Good luck with the style trac, the onyx blace looks wicked. Excellent looking setup and Prodigy Customs highly recommends it.

Hey Steve - Did you get your Concept One kit? Ours should be here late this week or next. What were your first impressions?

Here's my 65 2dr wagon, same issues as your 67. I used the March Style Trac set up with an electric fan. I have it running now but its at the bodyshop getting completed.

I did get the Concept One kit and I will have to say that it is the best looking setup I have seen. Everything lined up perfect as well, and I dont have to use the remote PS resevoir with my 67. I am going to have to get some thin electric fans, but it will work. Now the problem is that my painted intake and old carb look out of place with the new bling.

Robert, that looks great. What rad. and fans are you using? Heres some pics of mine so far. http://i687.photobucket.com/albums/vv237/317millhand/Chevelle%20build/IMG_0252.jpg
