Will a 15x10 with 6 1/2" BS fit on my 68. I'm not sure what I have now, but with 275/60/15 tires, I'm pretty sure they're 15x10's. That seems like a lot of backspacing though. Would the same tire rub on the inside wheel well? TIA
EDIT: Would 15x7 with 5 3/4" BS fit all around, or is that too much BS?
I just put 15x8 Wheel Vintique ralleys with 5" backspacing and 275/60's on my 69 elky. Fit perfect.

6 1/2 will not clear the lower shock mount with a 10" wide wheel. I would say MAX would be 5 3/4
I use 5 1/2 on my 10" rims 295/50-15 tires and no rubs.

thanks adam. I figured that would be way too much. that's probably why this guy's selling them cheap. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

5-3/4 is the max backspace you can run with a 15x10. There are several other questions floating around asking the same thing. With 5-3/4 you'll be about 1/2" away from the inner wheel house and just inside the factory lip on the 1/4 panel, and just missing the shock mount. The measurements above are off my 69 with 325/50-15 drag radials.
