I recently sold my supercharged 01 Z06 so I figured it was a goodtime to start working on the Chevelle again. The car is a 69 malibu 2dr orginally came with 307/powerglide and 4 wheel drums. I bought the car about 7 years ago when I was 16 and drove it for a couple years with a 350/350 combo, I pulled that in favor of a big block that never came to be and its been sitting ever since. Well today I just picked up a LQ4 (iron block 6.0 with -8cc dished pistons) complete with wiring harness and all and I am picking up a T56 from a 02 firebird this weekend. The only thing planned so far is to get a set of 243 heads and mill them down and with the proper head gasket get around 11.1 compression and then put a nice healthy cam in there. I havent decieded which mounts and headers to run yet, I was thinking the edlebrock set-up? As for the rest of the car I want to do C5 front brakes with LS1 camaro rear brakes, the full suspension and a 12 bolt posi. This will most likely be a long process due to I am trying to buy my first home here in the near future so I imagine a lot of the funds will be directed towards that for awhile, but my goal is to have this thing road worthy by next summer if not sooner. I will try to update with pics as the process goes along.

I'll try to keep this post ad updated as possible. Should be a fun project, and an even funner finished product.
