So, I've noticed that some EC's have an "El Camino" emblem on the header panel and some don't. Is there any rhyme or reason as to which ones have it and which don't?

 I believe the header panel emblem was found on models 69 and down. 70 on up the hood extended out longer and there was no longer a header panel, to which the emblem was moved to the larger section of the front fenders... hope I am correct on this and helps you out..:beers:

I guess I should have been a little more detailed. :) The 1969s are the one I'm looking at. Some of the 69s have the emblem and some don't. The trim package doesn't seem to matter because some of the SS's have it and some don't, as well as the regular old El Caminos.
