I am upgrading the wheel tire package on my stock 70 SS. I am thinking 15X10 5.5BS w/ Mickey Thonpson Indy Profile SS L60-15 in the back. For the front 15X7" Indy Profile F70-15 on a 15X7" 3.5"BS. I think I will really like the look of this classic muscle car tire, but.. how will the bias ply handle on my "canyon crawler".

Should I ...

Opt fo the same wheels (Weld Prostar's) with the Drag Radial T/A 275/60-15 in the rear and a BFG Radial T/A 235/60-15 in the front??

Any advice would be welcome. I want to have a streetable ride I can run at the strip for fun.

Thanks

Go with the radials. Bias-ply tires have no place on a street car, especially one running through "the canyons".

I have a 70 that i'm working on and i have 15x10 rallys, 5.5 b.s with micky thompson Indi SS N50
email me if you would like some pics so you can see what it would look like, SOME SAY THEY ARE NOT THE BEST TIRES TO RUN , BUT IF YOU LIKE THAT OLD SCHOOL STREET MONSTER LOOK THIS IS IT!!

If I do go with the radial, should I go fat in the front with the F41 suspension (245/60/15)??
