Anyone have any experience with these or photos of them on a 68-72? I have a 70 that is going to be rolling in the next few months, and I was wondering if anyone had advice they would want to share...
Thanks, Nick

I thought about running those except they don't have ant hoops bigger than 8" in the 17" and I wanted 9's and 11's. Look good though. Just depends on the look you are going for. Also remember they are steel wheels(heavy)

I have a set of 4 17x9.5 V40's, going on my car soon. My purchase experience was good, no problems at all dealing with them even though I'm located across the country from them. I did have to wait a while, but for sizes larger than 17x8 I think they make them on demand, they don't keep them stocked.
The wheels look awsome, very well made. I'm afraid I may have some clearance issues with my C5 calipers due to the width of the spoke blades though, I may have to do some grinding on the face of my calipers for them to fit, or get spacers(which I really don't want to do). :(

I think maybe Dennis was thinking of "Wheel Vintiques" 17-inch rallys (steel)...

ray,
your '66 looks great, I saw it on the VWW website and was wondering if you were lurking around here. Are those 40 or 45 series? What size tires were you able to fit under the fenders?
here's the original post from when i got the wheels with all the stats http://www.chevelles.com/cgi-bin/forum/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=8;t=002007#000000
