Are you referring to the upper slip joint by the firewall? Have you tried the GM dealer?

No, I am talking about the intermediate coupling joint on the lower shaft. It is between the lower coupling and the firewall. It is a rubber seal and it was ripped when I got the car and I really need a new one.

Is yours round or oval? I have a round one about 2 1/2". It is used but good.

I just finished doing my steering shaft and also had to replace the seal. It is still available from GM part #7802919. Be very careful and you can work it onto the shaft w. no problem. Alittle silicone spray in the right places may help too. Good luck.
