I have 255/60/15 on my 15x7 wheeles on my 72 Nova and was wondering of 275/50/15 would fit on the wheel and under the car???

275/50 should fit on the 15X7 rim, but no idea if it will fit your car...

First, we don't know what the backspacing on your rims are...

15x7 wheeles on my 72 NovaSecond, this is a Chevelle site. Don't take that the wrong way, but, while a few guys might know what wheel/tire fits a 72 Nova, I would guess the vast majority here do not...


If you currently have 255s mounted and you are planning on using the same rims, then you should be able to look and see how much additional room you have (both inside and outside). Get a flashlight, tapemeasure (or ruler) and crawl under the car (remember to look at both sides of both rear tires). The 275 will be roughly 1 inch wider thanthe 255, so figure roughly 1/2-inch extra tire on both the inside and outside of the rims, and see if you have at least that extra 1/2 inch clearance on both sides... If close, then further measurements might be needed...
