With Merlin cast Dart heads rectangle open chambers. -Crane 131541 cam. with an intake 648, exhaust 669.
-Domed .580 pistons.
-Horse power I was told about 610 hp
- 4 speed trans with 455 rear gears
I was told when I bought the car to use (105 -112 octane) I'm currently using pump gas Sunoco 94 oct. with Lucas octane booster approx. one tank (16 gallons) to one bottle of boost. I've put 4 -5 fill ups through it as of get. I haven't experenced any knock or ping. Timing is 16-18 base and 34-36 WOT.

I've only had the car since late last fall and been tuning on it all spring havn't really been driving it alot. I used abit of AV gas at the start but it's a real pain to get.

So my questions is although currently I'm not having any issues with pinging or knocking, is the fuel setup I'm running OKAY? Or am I setting on a time bomb.:confused:

Race fuel is not an option for me AV gas is a pain. So I would like to get some feed back on octane boosters. Which ones that you guys use and perfer over others.
