Does anyone have a good idea where to search for a build sheet in a 1969 Freemont, CA built El Camino?

Drop the gas tank as most plants used one to confirm the correct gas tank prior to install. They were then taped to the top of the tank so they became trapped between the tank and bed. - Tom

The build sheet in my Fremont built 69 ElCamino, was under the carpet. Actually, it was under the floor insulation.

I did a TC search when I bought my Fremont Elky and most of the threads mentioned behind the door panels or inside the front fenders....unforutnately I didn't turn up anything.

And of course there are the other possible locations, kickpanels, seats, gas tank.

Happy Hunting :D

I have never found one in any Chevelle or El Camino I have owned but I have found 3 in seats I have bought. Two in the back of 70 GTO bucket seats i have bought. I found them when I removed the back cover. Another one was under the springs in the back seat of a 69 Chevelle. Good luck.
