Does that work ok? I am going to get a new set of tires and I wanted to get a wider tire. My wheels are 15x7 rallys and I have 245-60R15's on the back right now. I know a 275-60R15 will fit with the backspacing, but will it "bulge" off the wheel too much? Does anyone run this setup and have pics? Thanks for all the help.

Yes, they will work, I've got that combination right now 275/15/60s on 15"x7" Torque Trust.
But I'd say thats about the limit.
My buddy who mounted them said they may wear funny, but my car is for fun, and doesn't see that many miles.

Dave, I just took a 295x50 tire off a 7" Rally Wheel. IMHO, it looked really silly, but it held air! I wonder if the tire is any good since the bulge was sooooooooooooo big! Later.....

These are 275-60's on 15x7 rallys in the following pic. I thought they fit fine. I now have them on 15x8's and like them better though.

i have a some-what realated question. I have a 70 chevelle, was wondering if 10 inch wide rims are to wide, or look too big on the back? if 10's are ok, how would 275 look on a 10? if so what is recomended

A 275 tire on a 10" rim would work & look fine on the rear of your Chevelle. Just make sure you specify 5.5" backspacing on that width rim.
