My throttle sticks only in first gear when i pin it to the floor. When in second or third it doesnt do it. Pretty scrary when the tires are already warmed up and using disc brakes. I have a Holley 650 DP and a throttle link, not a cable.
Any ideas?

Motor mounts.
Jack the engine up by the oil pan (with a block of wood on the jack) and see how far the driver's side mount separates.
