Always liked the look of the front and back tires being the same size. My brother had a 71, like the one I'm restoring, about 20 years ago, but he can't remember what size they were. Could anyone tell me how BIG of a tire (wide i guess i'm asking) would fit on a 71 if all the tires were the same size. I just remember they were bigger than normal but of course didn't stick out of the fenders up front. man i wish he still had that car........Thanks for any and all help!

I have 255/60R15 on all four corners, the left front rubs once in a while exiting a driveway and turning left, but I like the look. I suppose your stance makes a big difference as to what size tire you can get in there...

I use to have 235/60's on my 72 Chevelle and they looked good and did not have any problems with rubbing, a 245/60 should work too and give you the look you want.
