Would a set of late 80's, early 90's wheels off a camaro fit on my chevelle? Does anyone know the bolt pattern and backspacing for these rims? I know that they're 16 inches tall, and I think 6-7 inches wide. The tires are 245/50/16. Can anyone tell me or point me in the right direction? TIA graemlins/beers.gif

I have a 71 Chevelle that I had the 91-92 Z28 rims on it. They were 16 by 9 and had 245/50/16 tires. They are labeled front and back on the rims. They fit fine on the with the front wheels on the back and the back wheels on the front, not sure the other way. Not sure on what the back spaceing is. The IROC rims are the same backspace, width and use the same tire size but the only difference is the design. Hope this helps.

the newer ones (93+) won't work, they have obscene amounts of backspacing, like 7.5" I think. I don't think you'd even be able to mount them on a chevelle.

FWIW, I tried mounting one of the 16" wheels off my 2002 Z28 onto my chevelle, not even close, I couldn't even get it on the hub, it was a good 2" or more from being able to fit.
