I'm still looking for a replacement for the Dynomax SuperTurbos on my 468, Hooker Super Comps, H pipe, 2.5" from headers to the muffs, 2.25" tailpipes from muffs to the turned down tip at the stock location.

At a car show over the weekend, I listened to the cars pulling in. The cars I liked, I asked the guys what the muffs were. Surprizingly, all of them were Flowmaster 2 chambers. However, they were running 2.5" all the way, and one guy had 3".

How much will my 2.25" tail pipes after the muffs alter the sound on my car from theirs?

The sound will most likely not be as deep as the 2.5. It should still sound great. A bud of mine has 2.25 on his firebird with 2 chamber flowbies & it sounds great, just not as deep.
