This wheel kit is sold by GM performance parts and consists of 4-five spoke wheels, wheel caps, nuts, and nut caps for about 520.00 These wheels were recently featured on an early seventies chevelle in one of the prime sports car magazines. For those of you considering purchasing this kit here is some info that should be helpful...
1. The nuts provided in the kit are for 12 mm studs vs 7/16" studs.
2. The nut caps are specific to the supplied metric nuts.
3. The wheel centers are about 1mm on the small side for a mid sized Chevy but can be easily enlarged by using a round file an a circular motion.
4. If you want to avoid redrilling your hubs for installing the supplied 12mm studs to match the supplied wheel nuts you can use the following parts to use your existing hub stud locations.
a. NAPA 641-1268 7/16" studs, 2-1/8 in long
b. NAPA 641-1538 wheel nut, 7/16" w/external threads
c. NAPA 641-1544 Nut covers which go with b. above.
Using these replacement parts, you cannot tell the difference between these and the kit parts, and you avoid any hub drilling etc. Let me know if you have any questions....
