I installed a 350 engine into my 78 El Camino, which had a 305 setup. The engine had a C4B manifold, which I kept. I have an edelbrock carb but am having trouble finding the correct accelerator cable for my gas pedal to be responsive. I either have too much slack or it is too short.

Does anyone know if I need to get a bracket for the C4B manifold which will make my pedal response properly. This is just my daily driver around town not a racer. Any help or suggestions is appreciated. Thank you.
