I wanted to know why they use the long lugnuts for the hub attachment? They seen to have a small shoulder to contact the adaper. Does this type of lugnut have a washer or something? I have never used a long lugnut before and so I am at a loss for how they work.

Any suggestions on these lugs or any part of these adapters would be appreciated.

Thanks.

R.J., Those lugnuts are used with washers. I use the same type with my Weld Rodlites. As far as why they use them with the adapters, I can only guess that it is because they stay tight better than the acorn style nuts (more surface area contact?). I only say they stay tight better because that has been my personal experience.

Figure out what you need,thickness-wise,and then call Vette Brakes & Products for a set of their wheel adapters. Hard to beat their stuff.
