Hey guys, once I get the Baer brakes on smile.gif , will be ordering a set of 18" tillers from budnik. Any suggestions on width/backspace/tire size? My thoughts: 7" or 8" wide on front w/225 or 245/40/18. Back-9.5" or 10" w/285 or 295/45/18? Nitto's got some nice drag radials in 305 for rear, but will they fit? car has stock suspension and 2" lowering springs. backspace-4" or 4.5" front, 6" rear? thanks for any input or pictures, brad.

On my 71 I just put 15x10's and they have I think 4.75 back space with 345 50 15 tires on it. I know 6 inch bs would be rubbing in the turns for me but I dont have a 67 my tires are 28 inches tall and they rub in hard turns and sizable bumps so the 305's with the right bs should be fine...good luck

345/50/15? Who makes a tire that size? Would something like that fit under my 68 chevelle malibu, its been lowered about 2 inches all around.

I would like to see a photo of those tires underneath a 71 Chevelle w/o narrowed frame rails and bigger wheel tubs. Is it jacked up with air shocks?

Yes it is on air shocks they are actually n50-15' which works out to be 345 50's according to a calculator I found. Air shocks were on the car and the springs are old so the car isn't like 6 inches up or anything. With the lower profile tires and a rear sway bar my car handles much better then it did with street radials.
