I think that was a pretty good buy.
Don't you think ?

They need painted and new centers and trim ring, but appear straight, and not rusty. Not too much paint on them either.

But they are tough to carry across the 85 acre Carlisle fair grounds, to your truck, a 1/4 mile from the gate.

That seems like a deal to me, are you sure they are Chevelle wheels and not Camaro wheels. I hear that the valve stem holes are different between the two and the numbers stamped on them.

I don't remember the exact differences, but I remember reading a post on here that someone listed that there are differences between the two. Visually from what I have seen of the two they both look the same to me. I'm not calling you a liar but I remember reading that there are differences between the two wheels, wheather they are Chevelle wheels or Camaro wheels that still seems like a deal on the price you paid for them.

Me, a liar ? You'd better smile when you say that. :D

You don't know me very well, I'd rather **** you off and tell you the truth than lie to anybody.

Don't sweat it, I didn't take it that way at all. ;)

I just discribed them as 72 SS wheels because thats what they are going on. And I didn't know there was a difference.

Since I didn't know there was a difference, I'm gonna asume that they are close enough for me.

Anyway I was pretty happy with the deal.

But if you find out what is different between the wheels, post and let me know.

This has exactly what you need to know.
Great score for $120. I'm jealous. I paid $180 for just new trim rings........

Thanks for the link.
Apparently these are 70 Wheels.
The valve stem hole is 1"x5/8".
But the code is "K 1" which would be Nov. of 71.

Oh well, they ought to look good after clean-up, and paint.

And the Trim ring info is appreciated as well.

Thanks
