I am in the process of reassembling my interior. I had the piston/armrest ashwells recovered. My problem is that I did not take any pics and the screw holes are covered over. I dont want to mak any unnecessary holes in the nice new vinyl. Can someone provide pics or explain how to put the puzzle back together? Thanks

Not sure exactly what you are talking about, but is there no way to take the part back out (if in), look at the back where the holes are (making sure they are the right ones by verifying they match up with the holes in the body) and then use them to make starter holes in the vinyl?
Got a pic?
What I amd reffering to is the upper piston cover and the lower armrest. They screew together prior to being installed. The vinyl wraps around the back and covers the holes. I found one, but i am having trouble with the others. How many screws connect the top(piston cover) and bottom (armrest)?

I think two. Should be heading out to the shop tomorrow and will try to check on it.
KEVIN There are 5 holes around the bottom, 2 in the bend(corner) are oblong and should line up with the bottom holes . They are screwed in from the back with phillips screws. Attaching them to the body There are 2 straps on body beside rear door panel area & should line up with holes in metal panel. The rear is screw in behind the rear seat
I got the two in the bend. There is a gap between the top (piston cover)and bottom (armrest) like there should be a screw or something holding them closer together. If I remember correctly before I took the pieces apart and sent them out to be recovered they were tight.
Is there a screw for the lower armrest cover that attaches to the rear of the seat? I see got the two screw the top piston cover that attaches behind the rear seat. Thanks for the help.

Didn't get a chance to make it out but I think there are just the two from the top that go to the top of the rear seat and then two more in the front vertical side of the bottom. Once the seat is in these things are not going to be moving at all.
