I cant speak for everybody but one thing I like best is finding pictures of someones project - you know, pics of each step as they move down the line towards the finished car.
Why isnt there a section in the forums dedicated to members posting threads of thier project along with the pictures?

It's been discussed many time here.
As a 'project' forum would overlap into about all the forum's the power's that be left it for the individual forum's to handle there part of a 'project' - you post your engine build and pic's in engine or performance -rear's in rears, etc.
We have a 'showroom (http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/)' if you want to link pics to if that help's but most just use Photobucket (http://photobucket.com/) to host their pic's.

Bringing this to the top cuz I have spent some time over at Nastyz28 (While I dont currently own a camaro, I still like them!) and have been following various members projects. Some of that stuff is fascinating - heck, one guy, screen name olstyle, has a thread going that is over 400 pages long!!!
The reason I bring this up is because they, like quite a few other sites have an area that is just for projects, where people can post their car as they progress on it and others can follow along. I find that way easier than having to keep searching for a car that I read about a week, a month, or longer!
So again, I ask the members of this site -do you think we need a PROJECT SECTION???
Admin? whats your take?

I'd love a project progress section where you can follow other's restorations/builds or document your own.

No reason why anyone can't post their project and add to the thread as it progresses. There have been several ongoing projects such as http://www.chevelles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=181312 for instance, plus many others.
