Looking really good John! Haven't been on LS1tech in a while but I am glad to see the car has gotten wrapped up. The build turned out really nice. I especially like that vintage air IV setup how do you like it?

I would like it if it worked! Seems initally I had too much refrigerant and the compressor pulley was locking up and the system was working intermitently, now with that fixed its not blowing to cold so I need to go over everything to see whats wrong.JOHN

I'm interested in the 4L80e crossmember. did you start with the stock member? I cannot see pictures at work, but will try and check later tonight. who's converter did you use, and do you control lockup manually?

what shifter did you use?

the crossmember is made out of 1/2" x 2" steel and the perches are some reinforced angle iron bolted to the frame.shifter is an aftermarket shifter for a 67 with the extra notch for the overdrive, which did not fit in without some mods to allow the shifter handle to move fully from park to 1st gear without hitting the indicator bezel.Converter is a stock one for the 4l80.

Hey john which k&n kit did you utilize for your air filter?

It's for an 04 to 06 gto . I also used a " hump hose " coupling off the intake for a little extra length to clear the power steering res.and a 45 degree bend to turn the air filter down a little . I made a support bracket to hold it up near the air filter that bolts into the frame . I can get the exact part # and more pics if you need , I'm not near the pile of reciepts. JOHN

Thank you for the response John, and for sharing your pictures. Great project you have going there. Good choice on the bowtie gauges.
