I have a 66 chevelle currently with 235-60-15 on 15x7 rally wheels up front and 275-60-15 in the rear. My question is what would the largest tire i can fit on the 15x7 or 15x8 rally wheel and not rub in the front? Ideally I want the same size tire on all 4 and prefer the look of 15x8 and I am willing to drop the rear size to get there. Right now the car has stock drums up front(SCARY) but will be converting to b car spindles and tubular a arms which i believe moves the whell outward another 1/2" i was thinking going to 245 -60-15 but was wondering if anyone has tried a 255-60-15 and if it rubs at all.
