I took my 67 apart 3 years ago and swear that there were metal spacers that went between the convertible top frame where it bolts onto the body and the body (by the rear armrest piston covers). I thought they were about 3/4 in. thick spacers. I cannot find them and cannot remember if they were there or not. Can anyone tell me if I am right:confused or wrong.

I will call them but I was hoping somebody could snap a pic of the area and send it to me or post them.
I wont be able to get to my car till monday or tuesday . without looking can i get a camera down in there with the armrests on...we will see. i will ask the guy that just put my top on and see if he remembers any spacers. here are the bolts for the bottom cylinders if there were spacers they would be there too http://topsdown.com/New-convertible-top-lift-cylinder-attachment-bolt%2C-pair-p1042.html
