Okay, I know somebody out there has done this swap. I'm getting two different answers from different sources. One says that I need offset upper trailing arms and the other says I don't. Who out there has done this swap and what problems did you encounter during the process?

A '71 OLDS CUTLASS REAR WILL SWAP IN DIRECTLY. ALL 64-72 GM A-BODIES ARE INTERCHANGABLE. 64-65 WERE ABOUT 1-2" NARROWER, BUT THEY ALL BOLT UP AND ALL USE THE SAME TRAILING ARMS. IF THE OLDS HAS A SWAY BAR SWIPE THAT AND ITS BOXED CONTROL ARMS!

'67 and earlier axles were narrower than '68 and later. Upper controll arms are shorter on the '68 and newer, too.
