Hey all,

Please describe your throttle action during a standing start acceleration!

As i have heard, some 454s and up have more or less like:

1st gear - 1/4 throttle
2nd gear - 1/2 throttle
3rd gear - full throttle

(454, TH-400, 4.10)

But one 4th gen camaro guy told that his 600+ HP beast can take full throttle second gear? (M6, 3.73, 315/30, high 11s @130)

So, what is your situation?

P.S. I know all the variables and physics, so save the trouble describing how gearing/tires/etc would influence.. your "procedure" and combo will do just fine!
