I have installed the C4 PBR calipers with the 13 inch "heavy duty suspension" drilled and slotted rotors on our 67 Malibu.

I have 98 F-Body flex lines running from the C4 calipers to the factory drum/drum distribution block.

The M/C is an 89 non-power S10 unit (fast take up) mounted to a 96 Z28 booster.

This, from my research, is the optimal setup for disk/drum.... Now I just ran across a screamin deal on a complete LS1 rear setup.

Once the LS1 setup is installed what M/C do I need and do I need to run a proportioning valve for the rear? Will the S10 M/C work or should I go to a C4 or F-body disk/disk M/C?

Thanks
Bill

I was working on a similar set up years ago using LS1 rear discs and C5 brakes up front. The master was from a Corvette. I wanna say a 69 with manual brakes? I'm pretty sure that is what it was. But I dont know if that will work with your booster. Kore 3 industries set me up so I cant really remember and I dont have the same system installed. Maybe one of our vendors can help you. Mixing and matching has its pros and cons.
