I want smaller tires for my car. Right now im running 235/60 15 on all the way around but now that i have lowered the front the tires are huge in the wheel well. I havent drivin the car yet so i bet theyll rub. should i run 225/60 or 215/60?

I'm running 215/65-15 on 15x7" wheels, and I think they are just right for my taste.
Not to small for street driving, but still let me have the big and little look that I like.

I am running 215/70's on the front of my 72 Chevelle and I am using a 15x7 wheel and they seem to work well together. My 215/70's are slightly taller and thinner than 215/65's but not to much. I would not go any thinner than a 215/70 for the front of a car that is driven alot or daily, with this size tire my 72 still handles decent although it's not built to be a G machine it's just a cruiser and occasional racer.

I am running 215/60's on the front of my '65 with 15x7 wheels. The rears are 255/60's on 15x8's. You can see what they look like in Info Exchange. Look for the picture in the '65's under my login name.

Thanks everyone. It looks like I'll get the new tires. Hey Rod, what wheels do you have on your car? they look sweet.

DC,
They are Edelbrock 409's, 15x7's in the front with 4" b.s. and 15x8's in the rear with 4.5" b.s.
