I have a chance to buy a set of 14" inch 1969 SS Rims in perfect condition with the beauty rings and center SS caps too. I have a chance to get them for $400 dollars for all 4. The guy told me that i could sell them at tomorrows Swap meet for 1000 dollars or more. But i wanted to ask you guys first. Thanks.

L88... A perfect set (no dings, marks, rubs,etc) with perfect paint in the right colors with perfect original trim rings and perfect original SS center caps would be virtually impossible to find unless they were not used for 34 years.
However, I'd check on the originality of the rings and caps and see if the wheels have been restored. Secondly, make sure the wheels are coded YA on the front rim next to the valve hole. Thirdly, make sure the wheel assembly dates (also next to the valve hole)match up with your Chevelle/El Camino assembly date on your trim tag.
Show quality original wheels in near perfect condition are worth about $100-150 each. Original trim rings in near perfect shape are worth about $80. each and original SS center caps with 1/4" recess in near perfect condition are worth about $50. each. So a $1000. is not out of the question.
More likely he has replacement rings and caps and the wheels are just very good. That would be worth $500-600.
Bottomline...you can't go wrong at $400.
