Hi. I picked up a set of 15x8 ralley's at a swap meet over the summer. I'm almost finished with the body work on my '68 SS convertible. Any problems running 15x8's on all 4 tires? (I should have asked this before buying, but they were only $125 for the set with caps & rings). Also, what tire size is recommended.

thanks,
Kevin

Kevin,
For $125 with trim rings with 15x8 wheels,
you stole them. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

You could eazily, double your money.

15x8s will work on your 68, unless you try to put huge front tires on.

I've had them on mine before, switching to the American Racing TTD's. (see sig)

A 235/60-15 should fit in the front, 245's if it is stock height. 255/60-15 in back.

It'll depend on the backspacing and the section width of your tires. I had a set of Vette 15 x 8 wheels that I had to sell because they put the tires too far outward on the rear. I have a Monte Carlo, so you may have more room.

i ran 235/60/15 in front and 255/60/15 rear when i had 15x8 rally rims at all 4 corners on my 68 chevelle malibu and had no problems. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
