I have a 65 Malibu 283CI and badly need new rubber. Interested in putting F70-14 Polyglas on, but am concerned about rim width. I currently have F78-14s on the original rims which I think are only 5 inch width. (I know these are the original rims because I am the original owner). I also have a set of 14-inch / 6-inch OE wheels I took off of my 1974 Malibu wagon. Will the f70-14 tires work on the 6-inch rims or are they still too narrow? smile.gif

I use a rule of thumb, tread width = rim width. Check the tread width on the F70's and see if it's about 6", then you'll know how they'll look on a 6" rim.
