Thanks guys. It has taken a bit more time than I hoped.
I thought it would be an unusual color combo for a chevelle.
I know I have not seen one yet .
I like the idea of it being a bit different.
I gained a lot of inspiration here on the forum seeing all the great cars that have been built.

I think the SS stripe really pops against the silver. Looks good, but lose the antenna?! :D

It's supposed to be Cortez silver , but I think my paint man used a mercedes silver of some kind??? close but no cigar

You know, The worst part of the antenna thing is that it is a brand new one and the radio still sounds like crap. It is one of those Hen Harison retro look jobs from year one. I did not want to cut up my new dash.
I need to plug in a ipod to see if it sounds better.?
I hoped the rotors would slip past you .. Ha ha

Got myself a 9er, and going for a very different look. Id put that rear fender even with the rear wheel. Your not gonna get that pro t look till its down.

yea, I know. I put 8 - 40LB. bags of lime in the trunk and had it way down in the back..
I will get my 18x8 B/S's this week for the front. Once I put them on . I will take another look and change the rear springs at that time.

I like the combination stock/PT treatment you've given it...not totally PT, but not purist stock either.
Instead, a nice, subtle combination of the two.
