Been busy working on a few other items around the garage. Final got the drive shaft finished its not blanced but the turbo 400 yoke is on and was cut to length and welded up. The side glass is in and looks good, carpet is down and molded to the floor just needs to be clean. We need up cuting down a sub woofer box of a 2001 1 ton Chevy pickup to fit behind the seat. Ended up primering it yesterday in a light grey self etching primer and will be wet sanding any bad spots out of it. http://s274.photobucket.com/albums/jj278/monte70car/el%20camino/ has most if not all the pictures. But this is the one we like http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj278/monte70car/el%20camino/019-3.jpg

Thanks Al it has come along way in 4 years. The whole front clip was replaced with new sheet metal, doors had the corners worked on front and back, roof had a hole in the middle of the panel, both rocker panels was patched, the quarter panels are factory panels going all the way to the roof joint. Those were some panles that needed to be fixed just looking at it. It wasn't until we got the interior out we found it needed floor pans. Then once we got the bed cleaned out it needs the bed floor and the two body towers and bed runners. Some of the good items it has a 12 bolt rear end with a set of 2.73 gears. It had the tach style dash in it with a small block tach since it was a 350 car. We up the tach to a 6500 tach and stuffed a 454 with 450hp in the bay and swaped the 350 trans for a 400 with shift kit. The sub folder in the el camino album is my dads old Chevelle

Project is looking good. Great pictures of your progress. In fact a couple of them help me out on working on the inside of my project. Keep us posted on your progress.

The interior aint all stock just the dash board, seat, carpet, and the plastic panels. Wire harness cause us to move the fuse panel to its new location, and had to find a home for speakers. The radio looks to be stock right down to the knobs but its an all digital radio made by custom autosound. One of the add ones we did was change the vent windows over from manual crank to power the power switches look stock and will be put in stock location of where the window crank should be. The drivers side uses the 4 button switch to control all the windows and the passager side has two switches one for the vent and one fo the main window. We are trying to get a dual window switch to work on the passager side.
