chevelledude71 Feb 6th, 03, 12:29 PM I got my prostars today, and on my front wheels the box says 12mm offset. I don't know exactly what that means. I ordered 15 x 8's on back and 15 x 7's on front. Both have 4.5" backspacing. Could someone please explain this to me, thanks. Clark Feb 6th, 03, 1:13 PM OK Your 15 X 8 wheels have 4.5 inch backspace. Since that wheel is really about 9 inches wide, your offset on it should be pretty close to Zero. Your 15 X 7 wheels also have 4.5 inch backspace. That wheel is about 8 inches wide so the mounting piont is not in the center of the wheel. It is OFFSET about one half inch outboard. Or about 12mm. Hope this helps. PS. they should fit nicely.
