Hello Everyone,

I was hoping that any of you who have a 1972 4 door would be willing to put up some pictures. I am looking for under the hood to see how it should look and the trim around all of the windows and doors. We are trying to see what trim we are missing.

I am a school principal and I have a group of ten students working on a 72. You know their are no more shop classes in school so I am trying to teach them the joy these great car.

Also what size tires you are running. We are thinking about 235 60 15 for the front and 245 60 15 for the back. Right now we have stock rally wheels but I am trying to get us some Cragars 5 spoke.

Thanks,

Don

Don

I can't help you with the photos but I love 72's and the tires should be fine. I run 234 60 R15's on my Chevelle on all 4 corners. Keep up the good work!!

Check out "The Showroom" for photos and you might want to pick up an assembly manual on E-bay

Most of my interior is out but I'd recommend 245/60-15 front and 255/60-15 rear. Here's a pic of mine. http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/data/509/mountains.jpg

Thanks for that great picture. It looks like we are missing alot of window trim. Any chance of an under the hood photo. Just trying to see if we are missing anything and if things are in the right place. I like the nice looking tires. Will those fit on the standard 15 inch rally wheels?

Thanks

Don

I think the trim is optional, my 71 did not have this trim. Not exactly factory under the hood, the flash really brings out the dirtiness in the engine bay...
