Have a sway bar off a 69 pontiac judge heavy duty
1 1/16 large I have used it before on 1966 BU car
It does not rub and I have not noticed any problems previously?
Having said that I would like for car to be right.
I am doing a frame off it does fit. It seems to work
My question is Would it be to wide to be effective?
Or is there any difference in size?Or is there enough difference?
Should I not worry about it?

The bars should be interchangeable for all 64-72 GM A-bodies. If I'm not mistaken, 2nd generation F-bodies are the same too.

I also had it on my stock frame never noticed it .
I forgot to say I used a 67 lemans frame had to trim
Rear tail piece but it fits fine The bar I was told is different
Than one for a 66 chevelle ? I like this one and it is large and
Nickle plated no shine. But I was concerned thanx so very much

Yes, most companies used the same bars for 64-72. But we noticed when designing our 3 piece modular sway bar that the control arms are a little farther apart on the 68-72 cars requiring a sway bar to be a little longer to regain proper alignment w/ our PosiLink endlinks.

I have an aftermarket 1 piece bent sway bar on my 70 (will soon be installing the 3 piece one), and the endlinks did not align vey well. I'm thinking that that bar was likely designed on a 64-67 car.
