i have a 1972 chevelle running 1" lowered hotchkis springs all the way around. i just got 15x10 with 5"bs for the rears. i would like to run ET streets 28x10.5. do you think they will fit? how is the street life on the highway with these tires?
also i have no idea what size front wheel or tire to buy. i was told i need 15x7 with 3.5"bs. is that correct? what tire would go with that? i am not looking for the skinny look. it needs to be a handler too so i need pretty big tires up front too.
thanks
tj

You will probably need at least a 5.5-6 inch backspace for the rears. I am running a 15x8, 4.5" BS with a 285/60 McCreary street/strip tire and I am very close on the outside. I could have gone with a 10" rim....but I didn't want to take a chance.
