I recently bought an original wiper motor for my 66ss. It was advertised for 64-66 chevelles. I bought it without asking for the part #. Looking at the chevelle restoration guide I noticed the part # for my car is 4914507 and 2 speed. The one I bought is 4911945 and 1 speed. Does anyone know what this is correct for if it doesn't fit at chevelle?

The two speed wipers were an option in the early chevelles. Return the motor you got.

If you can't find the correct one, try looking through the junk yards. The cars to look at are the Buick skylarks due there being more "upscale" and prone to have the two speed set-up.

I went this route and changed my car (64) over to the two speed with squirter set-up. The wiring for this conversion is NOT easy to figure out!!
