Well, the air in my '66 is finally installed and blowing ice cold. The project took a little while because we worked on it at my friends shop here in Orlando at our leisure and I have to say, this guy went nuts on the perfection of this job. We ended up taking out the heater box, added dual electric fans from Maradyne, new pulleys, water pump, t-stat, belts, hoses, 140 amp alternator and a bunch more to dress up/clean the engine bay. The kit (under dash mount) came from Nostalgic Air in Tampa. We ran in to a few fab issues but worked through them and I guess with any custom installation...there are going to be some issues. But, I am extremely pleased this project is done and thanks to all that helped out.

Special thanks to Paul at Kar Kare in Orlando.

Brian.....congrats on having cold air now! I'm in the middle of the same thing, only with a Vintage Air unit on my 70, so I feel your pain. I wish I were at completion, maybe in another month

Interesting Brian.
Any way you could post a few pictures? I've been considering adding an underdash A/C unit to my '67.

Thanks Guys. I'll post pic's as soon as we buy a new camera. My wife just got back from a trip....and someone stole our new camera from her luggage. Lesson learned and we will not pack anything valuable that way again.

Joe,
I see you're from West Bloomfield. My wife and I go up every August for the Dream Cruise for 2 weeks. I have yet to take my '66 but we've met a lot of great people.
