ccrider Oct 15th, 99, 5:43 PM I have a 402BB and the existing 14" flywheel has some stress cracks and probably needs to be replaced. You should not have any problems. You might want to take the flywheel to a machine shop and try resurfacing it. Usually just grinding a few thousanths off takes care of the stress cracks. We have found that they are usually not as deep as they look. Always helps to save a few bucks. I thought about buying an aluminum flywheel but from reading previous posts looks like most feel that BB should not use them.
