Good afternoon my fellow el camino/chevelle enthusiasts. I have a 1970 El Camino, it does have a 12 bolt posi 2.73 gears, casting number #3969278 NF. The code tag reads... CKD 0703B1 which means the car came with a (L48/350 cid= 300hp) or the (LS3/402cid=330hp). My question is... having the VIN#136800....does this means my car IS NOT a SS?

1970 SS El Caminos used the 13680 Body " ONLY ". If the body is a 13680 you are off to a good start.
