Will a LS2 with the VATS not deactivated have spark to the motor or not. I am trying to start the car and was wondering if the car will start and run for a few seconds then die. Can you spray carb cleaner to see if it will fire? I still haven't had the computer programmed yet. I wanted to see if I have everything wired correctly first.

Thanks.

If it is anything like the LS1 computer it should start for a second then die. I believe it is a fuel cutoff (injectors don't open) but not positive on that.

I thought the same but was not sure. I am gettin frustrated with this car and wanted to know if it was the VATS or something that I forgot to tie in and give power to.

Get the PCM reflashed, youre chasing your tail otherwise. You need to have it done anyways, shoulda done it while you were doing the swap unless youre like me who can reflash the PCM yourself lol

I have a buddy of mine who said eh can reflash it, he owns a company that specializes in Vettes and he is pretty knowledgable with the ECM's. I have to get him here this week hopefully.

+1 on this suggestion. It's good advice speaking from someone who's gone down this path myself.

wait4me performance did this for me last year. I believe they charged me $75 but you will need to provide them with certain info like rolling tire size and final gear ratio etc..

good luck! LSx is the way to go.
