I searched, but I couldn't find any threads with this problem. I have coolant dripping from the vents on the torque converter inspection cover. It's not a tremendous amount leaking out. Over a couple weeks it will make a puddle about the size of your hand, so I'm not losing all my coolant. But I can't figure out where in the heck its coming from. Has anybody ever seen this? Thanks

X3 - it's really the only thing it could be.

x4 is good enough for me. I'll start there. I'm guessing it's probably not possible to change a freeze plug with the engine in. Is there any methods of stopping the leak without replacing the freeze plug? (assuming I can even get to it)

If you pull the tranny and flexplate you should have clear access to it. Easier than pulling the motor.
