hi guys, im kinda lost im pretty sure i have the incorrect fan shroud, and i might have the incorrect fan spacer. my fan rubs on the shroud when i accelerate or brake...and my fan is about 4" from my radiator, and is completely inside the shroud not half in/half out like ive read it should be. i attached some pics any help is grately appreciated. i have a '68 w/a 307ci i was told the fan shroud is for a SB '68 so im not sure what the problem is?!?! DJ (actually i have no idea how to attach pics, sorry) i could email them if someone can help me out...

Sounds like something isn't matched right. Perhaps a shroud for a short water pump with a long water pump? Have you tried it without the spacer?

that was my plan or maybe just a shorter spacer,the one on there is about 2" long. but then i was worried because the fan is already 4" away from the radiator. Wont that make it over heat if its farther away?? It does have a long water pump. thanks!
