I was ready to order my new 15x10 with 5 1/2" backspacing wheels from summit when i looked and there are two with two different part #'s and i have no idea what the difference is.

One says 15 x 10", 5" x 4 1/2" and 5" x 4 3/4".

The other one says 15 x 10", 4 x 4 1/4" and 4 x 4 1/2"

Both of these are 15 x 10s with 5.5" BS i have no idea what those #'s mean, is it where the bolt holes are for the studs or what?
I am ready to order my wheels today and would like to get them ordered so if someone could straighten me out i would be very happy.

Note, i have eibach progressive lowering springs 1" on my car.

Looks to me like the 5x 4 1/2 and 5x 4 3/4 are the lug patterns - 5 lugs, 4 1/2 and 4 3/4 inch spacing - the 4x 4 1/4 and 4x 4 1/2 look to be for 4-lug rims, which ain't us.

I'd ask and make sure while on the phone, but 5 lug with 4 3/4" spacing would typically be the proper answer for a Chevelle.

Does anyone here have a lowered 68 or 69 with 15x10 with 5.5" BS with 275s on there car? without rolling there fender lip, i am hoping it will fit without rolling the fender lip.

If worried about rubbing, you could easily go with a 8 inch rim...

I run 295-50/15 on a 15X8 inch rim... No problems, looks fine and within tire specs...
